@prodjoeys beat was niceee --- at first i was thinking this is a boombap for sure, then i was a little bit into and thought 'waitttt, this is like trap drums', had some real nice boomtrap vibe going on for me! I don't think it was too bad re the 'drums sat on top of the sample' personally. but yeah it's something to definitely watch out for.
@ThE_SiRe_BeAtS --- was niice, some kinda x files mario stoner trap kinda. I personally didn't think it was too repetitive, I think the way the rest of the beat evolved around it stopped it from being such, the intro had me waiting for the next part, then the next part, and the main melody had like an almost mario sound added at parts. and with a vocal on top, perfect. Only thing i felt was maybe the main melody was a bit too loud.
@GoldenBoy - i know what fade means about the kicks, i personally don't hear it much only sometimes you get a buzzing out both L/R. The mix was really nice and wide, but i think also in a way may have been over mixed... like the whole thing sounded really wide. felt like some part needed to be more centered to kinda anchor it. felt almost like used a stereo widener cranked a bit too hard on the master or something. very loud mix too. but did sound very polished.
