I have FL Studio 8, and have the ASIO v2 setup, but is there not a way to have it where my computer runs off that and not my normal sound card? This is crazy not being able to hop on youtube or something while in FL Studio. I literally have to shut down/restart to reset things so I can get the ASIO back in FL Studio once I turn it off.

I think you have to go into your control panel and change your sound card configuration...change your output to your asio driver....you should be in buisness...

I have a focusrite sapphire and mine runs like that but i had to set it up for it

controll panel/sounds speech and audio/sounds and audio devices/audio/sound playback
change output to thr device

Most internal computer sound cards won't allow you to do that. Most internal sound cards only have 1 pair of OUTPUTS so you can't have two diff't sound sources going at one time. You either have to use 2 sound cards (an internal and an external) or have 1 sound card with multiple outputs (1&2, 3&4,5&6 etc etc).
