Absolute madness!!! A nintendo game for almost a million dollars. Granted it's rare as fuck, but damn. I have doubts the buyer will pay, but who knows...

Whoa! Somebody wanted that REAL bad! For that kind of money, Im thinking this game is going to a corporation like Ninetendo, I mean really, who else would benefit from having this game?

It's crazy, apparently the reason it's so expensive is that it was originally recalled, and only a handful of copies were sold. A sealed copy is extremely rare.. but to purchase something like that for that much money is madness...

Yeah and the funny thing about this is that whoever bought the game at that price wasn't the only one who wanted it, there was somebody else that wanted this game pretty bad in order to get the price up that high. Alot of things to consider here...how much money would you have to have to purchase a Ninetendo game for almost 1 mill? For less than a mill, you could hire a gaming engineer to actually make this game for you, come to think of it, Im willing to bet that Ninetendo would do it themselves...lol

Yeah..the game came out right before the power pad....(don't ask why)...which was why it was so rare...I posted a thread here about the first time it was sold...

Apparently the PS3 problem was something to do with the leap year or something.. not too sure, but I think it's all been fixed now.

Ive been hitting game stop on the regular looking for it. Yesterday the guy told me that they are having a release party starting at 12am Monday morning. They even tried to get me to pre-order it but I had sooo much bad luck pre-ordering GT5 that I refused to pre-order anything else. I think the only thing thats been pushed back longer is Dre's last album.

Haha, good one Dac! I got my shit pre-ordered from Best Buy, haven't had any problems with them in the past, but I've still got my fingers crossed.

MK looks amazing, and I feel like I'm back in the early 90's when the original first came out. Slotting quarters on the machine waiting for my turn to fight... the good days when you had to figure out moves from word of mouth! Apparently some stores are selling the game earlier than the release date (the 19th), so some people have already gotten their hands on the game. Still, I got hundreds of games to play, so I can wait a little while long (just not GT5 long!!).

Daaaayum that brings back memories! Standing in lines waiting to play video games, there was no PS3, no XBOX, all you had was those big ass game consoles...hahahaha! I remember telling my dad how cool it would be to have one of those at home so we could play anytime FREE! hahaha those were the days!

Oh! Yesterday while @ GameStop, I purchased NFS Shift2 and imo it sucks! They added more content but compared to Shift1, the graphics suck, the way the cars handle suck, it's just NOT up to par imo....I hate when they come out with a part 2 thats not better in all ways than part 1 of the same game.

I also picked up TRON on blu-ray and it sucked imo, whoever did the sound on that movie should be fired! The volume range is too extreme! One minute you can't hear what the hell they are saying, the next minute youre grabbing the remote to turn that ish down! That was a waste of $100 plus dollars!

Oh ya, good times. I remember hitting up the arcade 3-4 times a week after school. It didn't matter if I had a two bucks or only fifty cents. I needed my fix!
