Did Any Of U Guys Ever See The Film Wattstax? They Just Aired It Recently. Cool Film. Basically Wattstax Was A Concert Held Out In Watts Ca, Dubbed The "black Version Of Woodstock"

I saw it on PBS the other night. I saw Rufus Thomas, Isaac Hayes, and some one else that I forgot. Rufus did bring it. But man his outfit was homo. And Ike too. Rufus had that Pink Butterfly shirt with pink shorts and go go boots. Ike had on a chain link shirt, pink spandex and eskimo boots. But the music was nice.

I also caught that on PBS the other night. Very dope concert/documentary. The music was great. The interviews were great. Richard Pryor had me crackin the fuck up. I'm definitely gonna have to get this on video or dvd if possible. Classic shit.

Yeah that shit was ill. I caught it on PBS too. Thats funny I was watchin PBS, I don't think i've watched PBS in 20 some years since i used to watch Sesame Street. I would advise anybody to check that joint out especiallyif U black or into that old skool R&B. Its cool to see real black folks from back in the day and see how they got down. And its crazy aint shit really changed for us but inflation and technology...and maybe the crack and AIDS epidimic. But, the joint is like a time capsule. Yeah Rufus Thomas is a fool. Luther Ingram performed "If Loving you is wrong (I dont want to be right)" I just made and ill beat with that sample and its in the showcase check it out.
