Anyone else use a Firebox?

I was just wondering..does anyone else use a Firebox??
I need to know if you'd recommend a pre-amp or not, even though the ones on the box are good.

how serious are you when it comes to recording!

basicly it seems that every day is a compitition with who has the best of the best while i say get what you need first and play with it.... then get what you want!!!!
