Hey all,

I'm currently running a pretty basic setup:
- a dell p4 3.0 ghz, 512mb ram
- m-audio midi controller (evolution 61 key)

the setup is cool, but when i run cubase and reason together the lag on the programs can get pretty bad.

i also play bass, and i was wondering what i can add to my setup so i can put real basslines over my beats?

i tried using the m-audio fast track usb, but for some reason i coudn't get it to work.

i want to get something where i could add a turntable and a mic as well....any suggestions?

I'm not sure what to buy but i've got about 500 in the bank to spend.

Please help!

PCI CARDS ARE ACTUALLY BETTER FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT LATENCY ISSUES. NO I DONT GO TO SCHOOL THERE BRO BUT MY GIRL WENT THERE AND THATS ASIAN COUNTY. HAHAHA.
