I was just wondering who else in here has opened up for big name artist, me and my crew 7th Generation have opened up for Loyd Banks, Fat Joe, The Game, Tone Loc, 2 Live Crew, Young Buck, Swollen Members, Sweat Shop Union, K-Os, Montel Jordan to name a few also has any one won awards for their music. We have won 2 x Scorpian Award for best Hip Hop Crew in the Okanagan & Interior, New Media Award, Eddy Award for Social Change (becuase we do work with the youth) and was nommiated at The Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards for Best Hip Hop Album in Canada. I just wanna see who else is making making moves and getting props for it

I have had the same thing happen when it comes time to do your solo thing on the tables and you know they are buggered up and the mc's are like ok and now for the dj to do his thing them knowing well that the table are messed up but you got to just try to pull through and your best. the worst I had was I was spinning at this party and a big fight broke out and drinks got spill on to the equipment from all of the ruckus I was just glad it wasnt mine the guy that owned them was mad as hell though but wasnt my fault his guys where supossed to be the coolers and they didnt do thier job

Back in 96 I opened for Brooklyn Funk Essentials / The Roots / Coolio at Lisner Auditorium (GWU).
I played in between the acts, got to meet questo, talked to him about Bahamadia (this was before her album came out). At the time I was not feeling Coolio at all, so I left in the middle of his set, got in the car and took off...
Around the same time when I was in DC I played after Meshell N'Dgocello at a small spot called BarNun. She was so incredible, playing with this amazing trio. I couldn't hold a candle to them, just played some records, couldn't compete on a musical level with that.
