maybe its the way that you come off.
I dont care enough to prove you "wrong".
What Im quoting is more likely the impression you left.

lol...If you don't believe anything else I say believe this. I care probably 500% less than you do. How you perceive me "coming off" is on u. This shit is never personal with me. You saying "you don't care enough to prove me wrong" is right in line with the other snide remarks you make from time to time. Oh yea, you will get your clown on, I hope you don't think I'm not picking up on that shit...lol.
I pay it no mind because it means nothing to me.

Aesop Rock - "None Shall Pass"

The title track is BRILLIANT!!! I listening to it on Youtube right now. It's different, it's new, and it's great!!!
Just reading through all of your feedback about his new album makes me want to hear his music. I just want to add though - Album sales don't you better than anyone else; it's can only be you who can push yourself into becoming betther - Just made that quote all by myself but you get my point.

The album is ehh IMO. People just set me side ways when they want to defend an artist that puts his music out "for sale" and it flops. The artist goal was not to flop. If he wanted to stay underground he would've put his shit up for free download like you and Wings did Agent! Right? right!

It's one thing to dare to be diff't, but to be diff't,abstract and str8 up weird is something else. If the money doesn't matter, and that's not what you do it for give your shit away, plain and simple. If you put it out with a price on it and it flops except it and move on. NO EXCUSES! And don't turn around and say shit like this music or that music is whack! That makes you a hater and a cry baby in my book.

If you had a following that thought you were the next great thing for hip hop, then it would show financially. The same ones that are screaming this is whack and that is whack are the same ones not supporting these "fantastic" new artists. Talking loud, saying nothing, the first ones "cop n" shit bootleg style!

how can you blame someone for wanting to make living at doing what they love most which is making music

most indie artists have to take on jobs because they can't make a living selling their music

None Shall pass is a very strong album from start to finish

i won't hesitate to buy a copy when i get the money cuz if no one buys the album we aren't going to be to hear more incredible music from this great talent in the future

I bought the album online when I bought the Build Your Own Bazooka Tooth acapellas. My wife bought me the Fast Cars album that came with the lyrics book. My boys put m on to Aesop back on Labor Days. They were all about the Nine to Fivers Anthem and Daylight. Those are the songs I can hang with. His concepts are ill. A lot of them go right over my head because I can't hang with the lingo. He is way to complicated for me but I am trying. I wish there was some sort of decoder because his stuff can be so abstract that you can easily misinterpret them. For example, here are the lyrics for Daylight and Nightlight. Some of the illest shit:

Daylight:

Nightlight:

Just option click the links and you'll get a text file. Here are what I have done so far for the Bazooka Tooth project:

I have only listened to None Shall Pass once. I only listen to the title track. Once I burn that one out I will peep the rest of the album.

I copped it. Wasnt too impressed actually. Ive been a fan since Earthworms so I kinda come from a fan of more of his earlier boom-bappy shit but it was still a decent album. I just prefer his beats on the older joints. Plus hes slightly changed up his flow. Not in a bad way, but still somethin about it sometimes doesnt feel as entertaining to me anymore. Hes still got ridiculous wordplay though. Most people hate on that side of his music actually cuz they either arent ready for it, its too weird for them, or they just dont get it.
Id still rather listen to something of that nature over some nonsense thats not even tryin to be creative tho.

Sonically, the album actually sounds better then alot of his priors to me, but that may just be due to his label finally growing enough to afford some better gear in the studio, etc.

I say more power to him if he gets his 10 seconds on MTV, sometimes thats the only way particular listeners are even gonna try an artist out cuz theres a lot of lazy people out there that don't wanna try and search for good music themselves....

Being on MTV dont mean shit anymore anyways. Look what its become. lol. A friend of mine has a digital cable tv package and he has some MTV variant ive never even heard of called like MTV3 or some shit. It actually plays videos 80% but its still the same shit as the rest of MTVs channels.

The publishers got the media by the balls man, trust me on that! Even if a VJ or DJ wanted to play some shit worth listening to (clearchannel in radio) or whoever else thats leading the MTV network would already have a shitty playlist ready to go. You just gotta be a robot and pretend its some good new shit everybody loves and wear the flyest new-yet-ugly ass-clothes that cost too much! haha...

ok ive ranted enough.

Sorry for the book. I say the albums just OK though.
