adobe audition bass cut

how do you filter out the bass line without making the sample sound so hollow

I know how to take out bass, but is there a way to make the audio sound a little bit more warm instead of empty and hollow?

Use a high pass filter.

yes hi pass filter, but is there anything else i can do so it won't sound so dull

If it sounds dull you are removing the highs.

The sample sounds hollow because you have not put another bass line in the song yet. Once those lows are filled in again the sample wont sound hollow. Give it a try.
