does anybody here use acid to make their beats. i was jus wondering because it sounds like everybody here uses cubase or somekind or harware.

Does anybody know of any programs which are like acid but better, cheers

i pretty much use acid and sound forge. its so easy and quick to move and arrange and chop stuff...

but theres a million programs out there u can use to produce...just start messing with em and see which one u like best...

I agree mad... acid pretty good when it comes to mixing .. thats if i used it for mixing but, the program itself isnt worth a shi... It all depends though
if thats ya thing and thats what you work with, then i got nuthin but props
its not about ya setup its just about ya muzik just make it tight and whos gives a fuck what you made it on.... peace

if i need to bang out a beat real quick, I use acid. What gives Acid a bad rep for making beats is that most people never go beyond its loop sequencing abilities. Recently though, i have been working with mostly VSTi's in Acid and found that once you get the hang of it and overcome Acid's terrible midi implementation, you can actually do a lot more than is obvious at first.

I prefer the stepsequencer in fruity loops also to use my vst's in.
fruity loops is my sequencer, wavelab is my editor and sampler and acid is my multitrack recorder.
