just saw jesse jackson crying in joy, no matter how you feel about him, definitely men and women of his time and before that fought life and death for something as historic as this to even be possible and not just a hope or empty platitude. i expect the tears of those of that age will be welcomed and so much more gratifying and powerful than most of us, gen x'ers and younger

after listening to his speech, I got chills man.... it's just crazy.
it's crazy if you listen to all the weirdo's calling C Span.....lol. "Obama is not a citizen, I called the F.B.I. and they are doing a thorough investigation."..... man, it's weird to hear people talk this way.
I was also listening to some of the Christian's responses on some forums saying things like, "We need to pray since there is evil in power now." ....seriously?!? WTF was Bush?.....

Me too man! The part where he spoke about how today is evidence that Americas true ideals still stand to this day and how he's a living example for our nation and the people watching abroad was just awesome, dam near almost cried. lol.
No doubt. People are still clearly stuck on playing make believe. Pretty sad IMO.

That isn't all christians...just because there are some christians who are stereotyping obama doesn't mean all of them do. I am a christian myself and I definitely don't. Its just like any other group/religion/political party/organization...not everyone in it has the same exact ideas and beliefs just because they belong to the same thing.

man i thought i was detched from politics but i could not help but feel like I am living in times that will be looked back on as being truly historic. Extremely proud of Barack, I hope he makes a great president!
