What's up ya'll just got the word from my fiance that I have 1300 to spend on gear, what should I get. This is what I have already and this is what I want.

Have list:
MPC 2000XL
Proteus 2000
Evens TR-8's
Numark TTX1 for sampling
Alesis Mixer
Pro Tools M-Powered

Want List:
ASR-10
Fantom XR
Motif ES Rack
Mo Phatt ROM

What will be a good combination of things to get for 1300. It doesn't have to be new either.

No but fo'real Fantom or Motif definitely. BUT like Classic said you need to really think if you NEED new gear. If you don't save that money up for somethin else

First off u got a sick setup...shit you don't need any more than that but...

I would go for an ASR-10 and a good $600 just for records. Your setup is sick man, and unless you're ready to committ to building an impressive rack, I just dont see the point in buying one piece of hardware...and from what I've seen, you can't find a good fantom or motif for under a g. I think you're way better off getting what I think is the best overall keyboard out there and a whole bunch of new sounds to use. you live in ny? go to a-1 and get some fire.

from the list u should get that Mo Phatt Rom since u already have the Proteus 2000, then you still can have a G and change to save for something u might want later, who knows u might have an emergency and need to repair something
