When I Upload Tracks To Websites Or Email/Show My Friends: 128. Since Thats The Limit On Most Flash Players/Converters.

When Im Making A Beat CD For My "Archives" 192 - 192 Usually, takes away some of that mud and compression you hear in lower quality mixes.

I don't particularly go higher than that since it serves me no purpose to do so.

Most of the time imma have to dump to WAV for anything else.

Has anyone ever thought about eq'ing in the lost that you would get by going with a lower bitrate?

MAN ON FIRE

No. If its just a "beat" it doesnt matter. Like going through all of that eq and compression for a beat doesnt make since to me. Since 10/10 its gonna be remixed and mastered on much better systems.

None of the beats i have made are the final mix for tracks, so either bitrate - its whatever, as long as the idea gets across.

I use 320, but if I am putting it to CD, then it will be 128. Personally, I hear the differences between uncompressed wav, 320 and 128. That's just me though.
