    Any SP 1200 Users here?

    Every thing you need to know is right on the top panel . It is a very simple machine that you should learn pretty quick . My advise is try to make whole beats with it ( baselines and all .) If you can do that , you will see your overall sampling skills will improve and you might get hooked on it.

    I just got a bass for christmas . I didn't play before though. I'm trying to get in atleast 45 minutes everyday on it. Now I see how that play while you sample feature on the 2500 would come in real handy.

    If you use an MPC ,then just snip the snares out ,then use a little attack and decay at the start and end points.I know you can do that with software though.

    PRODUCERS...ever noticed this?

    Or another thing that happens with me is I'll be listening to my records,find a sample that's HOT,put the beat together,get into that zone etc. then I realize that the sound quality of the sample just wont cut it.That only happens every once in a blue moon though.
