    Keys necessary with MPC?

    I imagine that you don't HAVE to have keys, but they sure do come in handy. I use a cheap 25-key midi keyboard for my beats. If price is of concern, take a look at something by M-Audio.

    haha, you can't use the same one at both places? ;-) You should be able to just load the sample up by going to 'mode' -> 'load', and then 'mode' -> 'program' to assign them.

    If you loaded up a few sounds, then hit 'mode' and the pad labeled 'program'. You can then select a program, and change the samples assigned to each pad.
