I'm back!!!
Might I just say... It's good to be back. My computer crapped the bed, and I was down and out for a while. I have finally managed to upgrade to a new PC, and I've started dabbling again. Here's my latest work in progress: -
Posting Music to YouTube - question
I use Canva to make my cover art and toss a subtle animation on it. After that, I just import it to Windows Movie Maker and copy and paste until it matches the length of the audio. Here's a sample of one of my videos: -

This would make for an excellent boss battle theme for a video game. I would recommend fiddling a bit with individual volumes, but this beat was overall quite pleasing to listen to. -

Smooth beat, dude! Although if I had to pick out something to criticize, I would personally like to see a bit more changeups. There were a few points where I was waiting for something else to happen and didn't get anything, but all in all, real nice piece. -

Very nice beat overall. If I pick it apart, it sounds like the 808 has too many glides that sort of distract from the rest of the beat, but it sounds good otherwise. The mix is solid, and it's a good beat to chill to. -

This is the most detailed review I've received so far. Thanks for the input! I think my biggest mistake is forgetting that I'm writing an instrumental and trying to give the ear a lot of stuff to listen to. I'll try to pay more attention to that in the future. Thanks again! -

Hmm... It's real smooth, but something feels a slight bit chaotic (maybe timings are slightly off?). If that's what you were going for, then great. It definitely adds a touch of mild confusion, which could be amplified with the right vocals. -

Need Mixing Help
This gives me inner city summertime vibes. I like it! As far as the mixing goes, maybe you could bring down the saxophone(?) just a touch, and maybe tweak the vocals up a little. I could tell something was there, but it was hard to make it out. And in the intro, your high end seems to be a touch... -

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you like it. I think I know what you're referring to with the whole wonky bass thing. Is it where the male vocal clip comes in? I think that's the culprit, unless I'm hearing something different. I might be able to fade it in or clip it to make it sound better... -

Thanks for the advice! This has been a tricky one for me, and I don't want to just throw some stuff together again like I did for the Stayin' Alive remix. Unfortunately, since the Egyptian scale is so different than everything you usually hear in music, it's really hard to find samples that fit...
