    If it was me i would stick to the Daw life and grab a Maschine the transition was smoother for me , i still use older hardware i.e. an mpc 4000 , and ensoniq eps and a mpc live , but those aren't my #1 go to units , i use them to compliment ableton , i might use drums from the 4000 or samples...

    i had the same issue till i acquired a fuman power conditioner and wooo what a difference , yea they are a little pricey , i live in flordia now and we have a lot of thunder storms so its kinda like a 2 bird in one stone kinda thing

    i recimmend Ozone plugins for mastering and the fab filter bundle for mixing and some mastering , i use them all in studio one once i make my beat in either ableton or maschine
