    its a sample.. the only effect is eq. and i know its a sine wave but it sounds abnormal

    just purchased fl.. I know this is a simple and maybe stupid question but i can't find the answer in any tutorial videos.. On the little rectangle pattern screen, how do I delete or erase something? Like if I plug a kick in how can I take that kick off?

    i think that mightve helped a little.. still clipping a little though. its just weird bc i have my kick at -16db and bass at -28.5 and still clipping

    well i don't have the distort button turned on.. and if i do turn it on and turn it all the way down its still clipping

    alright I'm gunna post a tiny sample. what I'm posting is literally 3 minutes of messing around solely to show an example of the kicks clipping. for some reason media fire is queuing at the moment, is there an easier way i could share the samples here...

    the studio monitors are samson, they aren't that good.. not doing anything inside the ultra beat and nothing else really in the low end except bass but even before the bass it still clips loud. I sent an example to someone I know and they said the kicks are distorted but I know of plenty other...
