Mixing with the artist is a bad idea, at least in my experience. It can cause arguments and bad results. Yamaha HS8 sub with 2 HS8 monitors
Depends on the size of room, IMO. With a sub the 5's will probably do, but a larger room without a sub, I think the 8's would be better- 2GooD Productions

I didnt get a kali sub, i got the Focal Sub One to go with my IN8's. I would definitely recommend the IN8's though and the sub one for that matter.- 2GooD Productions
