Yeah, that's what I tried to do...but def missed the mark. It's the NI Rickenbacker and Massive's Trees (sub-bass) preset. I like the tone and texture of the Rick, but felt it needed some extra weight (hence the sub-bass).- BiggChev

Very likely, It's two basses layered together. I had to bring the bass bus all the way down as it was far too strong in the mix. Will check and see what I had going on when I get back home.- BiggChev

Sampling Method Tips
Oh, this is perfect world scenario. The majority of the time I get lazy or distracted and just raw dog a sample. Also, all these steps can kinda be done concurrently. So maybe it’s not that convoluted. -
