^^^^ i actually agree wit dude.. but it really depends on the people. and u have to consider that if they even have accurate means of tracking their sales. (scans and barcode) Alot of dudes claim they move more tapes than they actually do, and there are other artists that dont scan their numbers... -

i ususally do a mixture ... it really depends on the mood of a track... sometimes my quantization is all over the place... i might have the kick at 60% swing, the snare at 53% and the hh unquatized or any combination of the above. some trax u want that robotic feel and some u want a loose feel... -

i think i know what ur talking about in regards to that echo one is the strech button i think its called or something like that ... i forgot what its called but turn it to 0. its default position is like 40. that will stop that echo thing. -

i would agree with iceman... kicks and bass are funny .. sometimes less bass translates into more bass if that make sense -

^^ i agree 2good but the fact is labels will shy the other way unless uhave some sort of buzz going .. there are people who try for years to get deals by going directly to labels with great material but its all for nothing without a buzz... i would concentrate on that first. try ur best to get... -
Delay in plugin FX?
latency ... .. just process the audio itself instead of using the plugins as an insert... or else u have nudge the track over until it matches up with them amount of latency the plug has which is a pain the ass......actually u can maunally take out most breaths by just zooming way in finding the... -

ENSONIQ ASR-10 or cheaper equipment.
asr-x's got fuced up sequencers though... they skip and act weird sometimes especially if u are messing with the effects while the track is playing -
