MPC5000 looks awesome!
does anyone else think this thing is NOT worth it? ... an 8 track and a synth? .. worthless features imo ... and i hear this unit is 16bit and can only be expanded to 192mb ram . My 4k is a 24bit sampling engine with a max of 512ram... nothing on the specs of this machine make me want to buy ... -

for me ... bass - black (agreed) drums .. snares, varying shades of brown .. claps are more white or grayish .. hh are a brighter white, kicks are black and verk dark gray piano - red -to very dark red almost brown.. depending on the type of piano horns - brown,gold, guitar - brown to red...- Ash Holmz

Im not sure how it originally came up, but one day i was talking with classic and his girl and the converstaion got into "seeing" sound. this is true ... when i upgraded from a g4 to a g5 i actually couldnt tell the difference between the processors ... overall i could do more stuff at once if i pushed the system to the limit.. but in practical use it was basically the same thing... but im sure a 8 core processor would show a...- Ash Holmz

some peeps just dont get it ...and yes u do have to pay to play in some shape form or fashion. whether its investing in equipment, studio time, flyers, pressing cds, airfare, etc.. it all takes money, time, and effort. yeah puffy and jd were heavily involved in american gangster and actually produced the best tracks on the album imo.. pray,rocboys, and fallin ... and maybe another one i cant think of..
