Mono vs Stereo "lead" sounds?
Panning hard left and right is often annoying, especially with loud sections. It used to be commonplace when stereo records first came out. In the end it's just a matter of preference - it can be good to slightly pan some instruments on one side and compensate on the other.- Drago Zetić

Soundcloud messing the audio quality
Anyone who doesn't understand the efficiency of the Opus codec should definitely try encoding some 64 and 96 kb/s files for themselves and listen carefully. The idea is excellent because it brings the same quality, but requires less data, so people with either slow connections or low data caps...- Drago Zetić

@Fade The Hexotic YouTube Downloader is a great front end for youtube-dl. It can be set to download only audio and doesn't freak out with copyright, aside from completely blocked or region-locked videos. @crog85 That definitely grew out of the lo-fi idea. @spectralight Starts out great, but the added layers after 0:20 are sadly off key. @Feel Dig the way the flexatone came out in that loop. @Edgar Superb atmosphere and muddy sound! The drums show a lot of contrast, but that doesn't detract from the experience.- Drago Zetić

@OGBama Fruity Loops first came out in '97 as a small step sequencer application. The standard at that time were trackers (Impulse Tracker, ScreamTracker etc.) which were used to make mod files (kinda like midi files, only with samples in them) popular with music creators using IBM compatible...- Drago Zetić

Rarely does the official instrumental line up with the a cappella so nicely! The quality of the file is a bit shoddy, but it'll do. My point is that a lot of a cappella tracks don't actually have whole number BPM values, but this one is exactly 83, so you'd have to mess up really badly to make...- Drago Zetić
