The quality control was actually the norm back in the day because if you were a rapper and weren't dope, you couldn't get in the booth. @Iron Keys Well said. For the beatmaking aspect, that whole $5 leased beats bullshit made no sense at all. I know there's tons of guys out there that think it's the right thing to do just to get your name out there or whatever, but it's still silly and just brings down the value for everyone...- Fade
