I had some crap jump off on mine last weekend. NO MATTER WHAT I CLICKED ON IT WOULD LIST IT 10 TIMES and control/ alt/ delete didnt work at turn anything off.
So I yanked the modem cord out and unplugged everything.
Ran the virus scanner, all spy and adware programs and set it to the day before...
Not a problem, its designed for indies like us so of course the multimillion $ studios dont want you to use it, it takes a while to master the software but the 1st time you get that grin on your face from somthing you've done youll be hooked.:)
Just because you clear a sample doesnt make the sample exclusively yours.
70 of us could clear the same James Brown sample and use the same damn thing over and over again and it wouldnt be copyright infringement.
You would have to OWN the ORIGINAL compisition or copyrights to it before you...
I have found (this may be a seperate thread) that I have purchased WAY too many sounds for my 2500.
I went to gothanoddin.com and soundcrafting.com and got like $800 worth of kits on compact flash.
Then I went and bought a 1gig flash to save my songs and stuff.
I now have 1 saved project and...

I was tryin to do that shit with cats I think are hot and they all have somthin better to do with their day as well.

Hmmm thats a good one, I dont use software very heavily so I would be dropping each track into protools and mixing them there then adding vocals, however what you described above should work.
I know one of my partners is doing somthing like that.
I would know better but mostly when people start...

I always think about clearence and as a result it has forced me to be ultra creative by being original.
