I wouldn't say that French rap is "street" nowadays .... It was back in the mid 90's ... but now it's pretty much mainstream with major labels and radios doing the bullshit... Just bought the new GANGSTAAR album

big time producers hiring musicians to reproduce sequences
What's your opinion on that ? I know Preemo likes to do that .... It's really useful when you can't eliminate unwanted elements in a sample by filtering.. but is this still sampling ? peace, PHIL- DJ Excellence

My vote goes to : 1. Ahmad Jamal : his music is just awesome , very soulful .... 2.Herbie Hancok : very versatile , comfortable with both the grand piano and synthesizers. Also a very intelligent man , with an engineering degree : he has even built several unique synthesizers !!! 3...- DJ Excellence
