Gangstaar for several reasons : -they redefined the sound of rap in the late 80's/early 90's with their jazz sampling approach -Preemo proved that you could use scratching in rap records, even if you aren't the best turntablist on earth ,and still sound dope -Guru's voice which is truly...- DJ Excellence

Are you against breakbeats comps ? Lots of producers think they're somewhat "violated" by people who release them... Best scratching on a conventional hip hop record
my vote goes to Channel Live's "Mad Izm" : the cuts are not that complex but they're really ill For complexity check out Obscure Disorder's "Lyrically exposed" (cuts courtesy of DJ A-Track) ... I also give props to Preemo , he does simple scratches but the collage is well executed and you...- DJ Excellence

How Do you start your beats?
I either start my beats with the main sample or with a simple Kick/Snare pattern.... but never with the bass ....it has to come gradually ..... but hey that's just my way ...- DJ Excellence
