yeah that's part of it, but I remember a lot of kids saying Dilla was top 5 (ever) before he passed away ... of course this is debatable. I voted for Pete because : 1/ he had a longer career 2/ he's been extremely consistent 3/ brought major innovations 4/ always stayed underground , never sold...- DJ Excellence

DJ Premier Live from HQ (GURU Tribute)
It was good ! Preem played a lot of GS classics and talked with Guru's cousin Justin. Preem also talked about visiting Guru at the hospital (it was sad), and lol They were clearly dissing Solar at the end.- DJ Excellence

Thanks for reminding, I kinda forgot about it. Just voted, some of these match ups will be tough: Dilla vs Pete Rock (I voted for Pete, but Dilla has a HUGE cult following), and Kanye vs Just Blaze (I voted for Blaze, they have similar styles, but I think Blaze has been more consistent).- DJ Excellence

reminds me Jazzmatazz 1 & 2 were pretty good (def underrated in my opinion). I really like these ones too (Guru and Preemo on Jazzmattazz 3 and Baldhead Slick & Da Click ; Battle on the 8 mile OST; Gotta Get Over on the Trespass OST).- DJ Excellence
