yea its not essential but it definately helps a lot when it comes to producing, even if you only know a bit its better than nothing. I get ideas in my head all the time but as im not that good at playing any instruments i find it hard to make things sound the way i want them to sound if you are... -

how many of your beats do you actually like?
I only really ever make a beat that i like, don't see the point in making sumthing that you don't like ! ? I prefer to spend a lot longer on beats, taking my time to make sure its sumthing i like than to keep churning out beats all the time and not like half of them ! Quality not Quantity ! -

yea thats a good point, i think im gonna go for the o-zone now its pretty cheap and is a good start all in one kinda thing, ive already got a decent PC, and all the software i need ! and i've got vestax decks and a mixer so its a decent start i can build on. -
