Yea the key is not required, but you will probably have to put in your username and password each time you launch the software. That's what I do. Hi Ill Thought, I like the track. it seems like the mix is off a little, maybe less snare more kick? Also it would be cool to change up the drum pattern from time to time. Not really in reason 5, you could sample it in to a sampler. Or record it in something else and chop it in recycle. Best to upgrade to reason 6 as they added true audio recording.- thedreampolice

yea it takes some work. Personally I am kind of over trying to recreate sounds from the past. Trying to make new sounds these days. But it can be a fun experiment to try and come close :)- thedreampolice

If you are a reason user you can get really close with the MPC groove templates and this RE https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/resampler/ I think it make more sense to do everything with a plugin as bit reduction by definition has to happen in the digital domain.- thedreampolice

Just reduce your ppq in your sequencer and use a bit crusher to go to 12bit and you pretty much have the mpc60 sound and feel.- thedreampolice
