i been thinkin about startin to record on my PC wit the cakewalk software i have, ive been lookin at a few mixer from Roland but a lot of their shit is discontinued, does anybody know a good small mixer for a PC, and also if anybody could give me some advice on a real good cheap mic to start with. -

this sounds a little suspect for such a "huge label" i hate when people do that, u should find out what kinda contract son has, or what kinda money the label is working wit, whats a huge label to u may not be such a huge label to somebody else. also, wheres it gonna be sold, u need to ask...- Guevara

or even better, to add to my comment and holmzinis comment, if u really wanna impress the label find an acapella of one of their artist and throw it on one of your beats, i put G.O.D III (mobb deep) on one of my beats and there were industry heads who were feeling it and said that it made them... -

it depends on if u selling to an individual or presenting to a label..labels wanna hear how your tracks sound with an artist on it, mc's just wanna hear a dope beat..keep that into consideration.
