    It is good to know what your weak points are. I suggest you to work with dumloops. When it comes to mixing levels I feel your snare needs to hit a LOT harder as the melody has not a lot of tension. If your melody is super gritty you can get away with almost no drums.

    I think more than anything I challenged my own thoughts. The artists I loved in the 90s are still dope in 2023. Quality stands out.

    The 8 bit vibe is nice but the melody gets very repetitive. I like the thunder. The low end feels a bit overpowering and there is a harshness in some of the melodies.

    I F with this. Dope drums and samples. I also like the vocal chops. As a rapper I would like less changes but as a instrumental I think it really works well.

    Sounds like a classic boom bap beat until the chorus with the ill synth and the vocals. Very melodic and entertaining. I guess the synths are not for everyone but I think they add a unique flavor to the beat. Dope stuff!

    Dope track. At times I feel that there is a tad too much distortion on the main synth stab but I am not sure. Especially the beginning of the track feels muddy in the low end.

    The drums feel so great. The vocals and melodic chops as well. I feel the last synth layer could a bit more excitement with different panning or delay. Just mho. But again: feels so great I listened to it 3 times in a row.

    The drums and the samples work well together. I have some comments on the mix: I feel the drums have too much distortion on them imho. The main sample on the other hand is very clean.
