This vid is from 1997 ! things have changed a lot since then.... you don't really hear that quality lyricism / beat making combo no more, it seems everybody wants to be a thug nowadays.... even I AM, one of the most respected hip hop acts in France (the group that's featured in the video) went...- DJ Excellence

They're talking about racism in France and the need to rebel against it. There's an obvious reference to the independentist movement in Corsica (French island near Italy , in case you don't know) : They're dressed like Corsican terrorists and screaming "independence" just like them.- DJ Excellence

Your (reverb) techniques on drums?
I never use reverb on my kicks, I like them dry. Most of the time I add a slight reverb to my snares with minimal wetness. I run everything (kicks , snares, hats, crashes , etc ...) through a compressor, always ...but that's just me ...you should always do what you feel is best for the overall...- DJ Excellence
