yea i mean amps sound better but you've got a big fuckin amp to store then and the fact you have to set up the mics to record etc and you gotta worry about mic placement and ambience then me personally DI'd bass is the way to go for 90% of my hip hop tracks ! yea i plan to get a few more live... -

yea i use my bass guitar in some of my recordings i run my bass into my behringer v-amp which is like amp modelling rack unit and then into my sequencer, for a total beginner you're not guna be able to play particularly good basslines its like anything you have to spend time and practice it... -

i've never listened to the guy im just giving my opinion about the subject, as far as him being a jew thats not a problem at all, but imo even singing/rapping in someone elses accent is fine, im sure he respects the reggae culture and image but he should be faking an accent like that he could...- MarkN

IMO thats a bit different its writing a piece from another perspective that has nothing to do with using a different accent in your music ! of course you can write pieces from other peoples perspective but thats not i assume what this guy is doing hes just faking a jamaican accent to fit in ...- MarkN

well the semi weighted keys are nicer but if your not used to them you wont miss them !? the expression pedal is useful i use one but again its not something you need thats a personal preference, the drum pads would be dope as would the transport controls and the axiom is a lot newer and $40... -

if you can get on the internet go to the akai website and download the new OS for the MPC1000 this gives you a timestretch feature, then you can slow the sample down to the right speed then just bang out your drums. you can't just move the drums and put snare on the 4th instead of the 2nd... -

yea a few of my m8s use logic mostly for like d'n'b but they swear by it, i think its more what you know, none of the programs are that much better than the other its just what your used to ! -

i'd go for an m-audio raidum you got knobs sliders and a decent number of keys even on the lowest model, and their prices are good aswell, and they are reliable and easy to use etc. -
