It's Not What You Have It's What You Can Do

Why dont you take 486 of those floppies and put them all on one CD? Or you can put over 2900 floppies on one DVD if you have that many. 4 boxes of floppies equals what?....2 cd's worth. Not very impressive. To top it all off floppies are probably more fragile than CD's. Whats the point of using...

    Cubase Sx!!

SX is dope. Another option is Cakewalk Sonar 2.0. If you need a cheap sound card with low latency you should peep the M-Audio Audiophile. A lot of people use that card with SX. You can use SX with a soundblaster but most of the time the latency is too high. PS: I'm using SX with a M-Audio...

Cool Edit Pro For The Mac

All of you are out of your minds if you would get a G3 or freakin imac. You can get a PC thats as fast as the fastest G4 for the price of a imac. Dont even get me started on G3's, those things are ancient and slow.

Hay you can edit just fine with PT man thats what its for. So dont trip about wave editors on a mac if you have PT. This is a quote from the digidesign site: "System Software: Windows XP Professional or Home Edition (Pro Tools LE 5.3.1 can NOT be installed on systems running Windows 98...

Has any one used reason 2.0 software to make hip hop beats?

Well you need a nice computer and a good soundcard and a midi-controller. So the cost is alitte more than $400 bux if you add everything. But as far as makin music with it its a dope virtual studio. You wont be able to sequence any external gear like you can with the MPC but other than that...

    VSTi vs. DXi

Hay wassup, I also heard VSTi's work slightly better with FL. I think it depends. I've heard a lot of people have problems with the Battery DXi in FL. I have no problems with DXi's in Cubase.

LOL you use a fuckin MC303?? OMG what do you think this is the early 90's? Its 2003 man. If you're still using that piece of garbage for your drums you shouldnt be talkin shit dood. Even free software sounds better and has more features than a MC303. Yamaha CS1x???! Dont make me laugh please...

    Public Enemy and Cubase

How so? Personally I'm not feelin their music anymore, but its cool to see Cube-heads gettin some props. Althought it didnt really say Public Enemy actually used Cubase, just their engineer. All engineers use software nowadays, atleast all the ones that like things to sound good .

I'm Going to Make the Switch to Sofware.

US price is about $300 bux, which is still hella money for some rubber pads. I dont think there's anything else like it tho so I guess they can charge whatever they want haha.

I'm Going to Make the Switch to Sofware.

Wassup man, I've had the MPD-16 for almost a year now. I dont see how I programmed drums without it! I used to play drums on my midi controller but that shit is wack. If you've ever worked on the MPC2k you should get the MPD. Actually even if you havent worked on the MPC you should still get it.
