Mixers?? What Y'all Usin'?
Why would you look for mixer or pre amp then ? I mean, the dock has 2 pre amps so unless you dont have a tubed mic you could look for a tube pre amp like the digitube from Presonus (via s/pdif). If you still want a mixer, then I´d recommend to save up some more so you can have multitracking...- Formant024

Well, the M models gives you just a bit more space in you mix, so you can pump in bass dynamics etc. In general 120SNR mean that thd starts 120dB on the output, you have a more headroom. Shit man, this is about preferences, if you know the abilities of your gear you'll have the proper perspective on your setup. Read manual and hit F1 in your s/w platforms and read... get aquinted with midi and sync. Shit is all pretty straightforward but you need to read n just play.- Formant024
