The internet has turned society into zombies

Here's the thing though; if all of us were in a room and had to talk to one another, how would that go? Would someone get punched in the face? How long would that take?

    Timbaland in the studio

I don't know who the group is, they look annoying lol. But one thing is it shows how important it is to be together in the studio to bounce ideas off one another. Online is cool but in person of course is way better.

A true producer - giving the track exactly what it needed.

    Mick Softley - "Time Machine"

Sorry, I'll be a little more politically correct. I shall caress thy sample into submission, forcefully or not.

Yeah I'm going to rape this sample.

    Mick Softley - "Time Machine"

I wouldn't have take that whole guitar, but it's so dope so why not, right? Strings are a nice addition. Drums are a bit dry in the mix, bass sounds good. I think this song has so many samples, or at least so many ways to flip it.

    Mick Softley - "Time Machine"

This one is really good. Of course there's the guitar at the beginning, but there's some other guitar panned left. If you can isolate his vocals too, there's some cool shit in there. Also, maybe grab a loop and filter it for the low end. Also, check out from 3:20 on! And 3:50 for vocals! FLIP...

The internet has turned society into zombies

@Iron Keys For sure. The internet has really warped everyone's minds, whether they realize it or not. Just today I saw a clip from a Blue Jays game in Toronto where some woman punches a cop: My first thought was that she thinks she's on the internet and her actions don't have consequences...

The internet has turned society into zombies

That's what I mean! Thinking back, how did we store all those numbers in our heads? It seems impossible today, but we just did. I still treat my phone as just that. I rarely use it and definitely don't use social media. But that's me. I just think that people have a choice in HOW they use these...

The internet has turned society into zombies

Exactly. But again, this comes down to a generational thing. You and I grew up in an era where we actually dealt with one another face to face. The internet didn't exist. However, the younger generations don't know any different. To them, the internet is God. Everything is internet, even if...

The internet has turned society into zombies

That's one of the things I'm talking about. Sure, we do it here as we're joking about certain things, but we all know nothing beats actually replying to someone with text. Just the whole "like" function alone has turned things sideways.

The internet has turned society into zombies

Let's not make this a politics/race/religion/conspiracy thread. Just vent. Discuss. Some of us remember life BEFORE the internet, some only know life WITH the internet. It's an interesting topic, and something I've found to be fascinating. I remember my friend with a cell phone around 1998...
