i had a 12 track disk "lost" by some guys i recorded with at the community college. they were friends of a friend, and so i went as a favor, and they were....shall we say less then desirable to work with. i just didnt care for their rhymes, style, etc...... so i basically cut my losses...- Cold Truth

How do you start your production??
usually the drums come first.then i build the melody around that, and once i have my main chords the drums will generally change to fit the mood of the chords. the bass usually comes in last for me.- Cold Truth

2000xl sampling time capability
you still need the ram for when you have the samples inside the mpc. the zip disk can and does save your samples and larger files, but the mpc must be able to hold the files inside its own internal ram. i suggest buying more ram, asap! i had mine with the full 32 mb, and only once did i reach...- Cold Truth

did everything imagineable.... the thing is that i can here it from the keyboard perfectly, but on the drum editor you can barely here anything at all.... so now it depends on whatever quantize setting i have, it will go back to the original volume...... plus i cannot switch the global...- Cold Truth

headphones for monitoring stereo from my audiophile card, can i do this?
yeah, thats what i was looking for originally. what i wound up getting is the same thing except it has a 1/8" male out instead of a female in..... i cant find one of those anywhere. actually, i saw one on radioshack online that was an 18 inch cable, i may see if they have oone at the radio...- Cold Truth
