question on production equipment
naw i record the motif sounds a sMIDI event on the MPC sequncer. I just dial up the MIDI tracks on my motif and MPC. To hear the motif and MPC sounds toghter I use a mixer. Everthing audio is seprate till it hits my mixer class... -

check it out, Im hearing alot about all these recording schools but persnally i dont think its necessary. Most people who make it dont have formal training in beat making/engineering etc. They pick up what they can along the way and have lots of talent. I would say if anything go to a 4... -
Please Explain: Digital Output, SDIF, USB, Etc...
SDIF is digital output - it ususally comes in optical or cable. This gives the best sound quatltiy and should be used if possible becasue u will get no signal noise. (I use spdif optical to track beats from motif to cubase) -
