You're missing a big issue here, rendering algorhytmns In the export window it will be set to linear by default, but if you set this to syncdepth 256 you have a huge increase on quality. There's also 6 point hermite and lower syncdepths but 256 is topnotch for fl and in general I think it...- Formant024

I got a 386 way back, then some time later an 8-bit passport soundcard. I already had a psr keyboard and discovered what the din sockets were for. Without a manual it took me a year to configure the psr keyboard and understand how midi works via trax sequencer proggy i got with the soundcard...- Formant024

avalon 737 compressor vs cpu compressors
I tried waves on a setting I often use on a dbx166xl ( comp/lim/gate) and waves did not compute resulting in awfull digital jitter at the point where the comp should have actualy kicked in nicely. I aint saying they're all bad now, but I prefer the result of a hardware comp. Still, I'd recommend...- Formant024

If you have the last model 808 you wont need much eq, the electronics have filters embedded to create each sound in the orginal 808 ( last model 808 has a bigger sonic range*).
