Compressin' and Reverbib' vocals.
Use send channels for reverbs n delays, eq them on the send channels ( take out the lows, also make sure you send in a 100% wet channel or else you're just amplifying the signal), no compressing whatsoever, you could layer some fx but imo I rather assign another effect to another send channel...- Formant024

well not really, there are a few eq presets to remove noise but nothing really powerfull. With most editors you should select a bit of the wav file that contains the wave( preferably with no sound at all, just the static ), hit up the denoiser plugin/process and scan the selected bit for the...- Formant024

No... less is more and it works best with the proper and expensive gear and yes a gate belongs in a vocal chain but not always neccesary. I meant to say that there's no hardware solution ( or any solution ) that deals with his problem.- Formant024

FT2 rules, easy as fok... used it since 2.6, its a tracker, sorta barebone FL with vertical scrolling sequencer. Actualy released a FT2 track last year lol, 8 bit mono wav and the shit sounds dope, for the dnb fans... check tb - endgame also made in FT2...- Formant024

You can say whatever you want, but it's all in a good ear and proper eq'ing and knowing what gear to use. Black vocalist may have a lower frequency range but not in the range of the likes like pavarotti and that's a big fat white italian.
