i think compression depends on the producer really. I like to compress vocals of course. As far as beats, I like to compress kicks and my sample/melody. I guess it varies on what ya workin on,,,, -

word. Good points. It really isn't that hard to understand. In the showcase, you post links to your HIP HOP BEATS. As this is a HIP HOP production site, you would expect HIP HOP tracks.
