i run my MXL 990 thru the M Audio Mobile Pre and Get NO additional noise, or ambiance.. And my room doesnt even have insulation so its nice. -
anyone know how to do this?
attack adjusts at what point the instrument/sample comes in while compressing/fading its predecesor.. thus making it come in faster or slower while not being punchy. unless u have some bad sampler.. should work. -

make sure ur using an XLR - XLR cable. not one of those Stereo input cables. AND make sure the cables are completely connected cuz that gives off a bad hum/hiss. -

i like my MXL 990. some people hate on it. but when i dont tell people what i got they ask "what studio you go to" so.. yea. Of course it requires some mixing skills to get that quality. but i like it. and how it looks. -

Studio Monitors
They help you mix cuz u can hear alot more, if u have some good monitors. i, personnaly, do not have studio monitors..... and I still manage to make decent shit, but I believe monitors would make the job alot easier.. cuz im using some old broken headphones... -

lol.. double click the task bar (of the PLAYLIST WINDOW NOT FL!!) just like u would do to any other Windows application, and it will get smaller -
