    i bean layerin my signature Punchy drum wit a 808 and a pillowy drum. and 2 snares for that hard gunshot type vibe. and sometimes i layer some acoustic drums with my regular drums to give a grimey feel. as far as everything else, i like to layer strings in choirs. pianos and strigns some times...

    yea or just change the root note of the triggerfinger pads to C1 etc. cuz the redrum channels start on the lowest keys as opposed to "middle c"
