    it reads/writes your presets,sets, bank, all the parameters and supports a lot synths, make snapshots of your gear's configurations, all midi and sysex stuff. good news, sounddiver osx public beta here, so you can try it and see if your gear is supported...

    Most of the mentioned gear are perhaps good workstations but suck at being a sampler, except for the 4K, thats a high grade sampler 24bit/96kHz with an snrof 120dB (it only starts distorting and adding noise above 120dB measured from the output, input is then mostly equal or a bit lower)...

    Either its supported by the plug or not, the better oems do add this midi parameter cuz its basicaly a standard function but i believe a lot of plugs sound nice but lack those functions. I dont use a lot of vsts but the ones i use work the same way, dial from the masterboard or from the mpc.

    good needle, good element, an apogee like 2 track converter...its a sample, mostly eq' en compressed already so its often a matter of remastering your material or mix around your samples to obtain the same character ( meaning, leave as is and work on all the other stuff to balance your mix ).
