MPC Style in Cool Edit or Adobe Audition

LOL yea zoning is GREAT man, it can chop a sample for u , U can choose from 2 to 16 pieces. ALso you can go in an adjust the lenght of each "zone" which allows for great flexabilitity. Once the sample is chopped you can assigen it to you pads and play the pieces in differnt oders and come up...

Hmm interesting.. u know I had to drop my 2 cents…. I think the root of this argument is this. Their are a lot of people on this site(and around the world), that really don’t know what its like to grow up in a impoverished urban neighborhood(ghetto) in the USA. Since this is a prevalent...

Your right about the edting sounds part, the MPC 2000xl filters really arent that great for editing sounds. But im not to much of a sample head(yet) so its all good. I prefere to record, loop, filter in software and chop in hardware. Eventually i will upgrade to the 4000 casue it has those...

Sounds like he suffers from a classic case of bi-polar diease or manic depsssion. They would think they were invincable and that nothing could hurt...

    I found my new beatmachine

That would be such a waste, when will people learn that all in one products will NEVER work. Its better to let Each company foucus on their own expertise. Shit with $8000 i much rather uprgrade to an MPC 4000, and cop an bunch of new racks an synths that each have their own unique style...

The Moment You've All Been Waiting For

Yea man the motif is definaly dope, but if your gonna be mostly sample based it may be best that u just spend the time learing your MV sampling machine. I heard you can do alot with that thing, i even heard it has realtime time strech!!!! If u just start with an MV and a MIDI controller and...

What i do, is when im finished making the song, i save the data files and sounds to my computer for storgae. I create a folder just for that beat with all the MIDI and sound files. IF i have a sample, i create a notpad document a type the record name and song of the samples i used. That way i...

What sequencer have you completely mastered???

Good thread, well Im not a master, but i definaly LOVE the MPC's sequncer. Nothing like programming your stuff live and on the FLY. THe MPC's sequncer's simplicity can be deciving, you can get very indepth with the sequncer. ITs very flexable and robust. ALso i like the fact that you have...
