Yeah but you're trying to record whatever is coming out of your interface. There's the loopback feature in the Scarlett software. Once that's setup you should be fine. -

Try just recording from the MPC into your DAW first and take it from there. You just have to setup the Scarlett software properly but that's easy. -

This is why an external recorder is the best option for audio but it comes at a cost of a few hundred. If you look at Instagram videos there's lots of beatmakers just recording with their phones and you're hearing that audio, and they're using speakers. -
