get kingston value ram, i purchased 4gb 667mhz 5300 for 76 euro somewhere...you can use the kingston wizard to look up which of their modules is suitable for which mac. also, i dunno why but mac has changed the L2, my late 2007 mbp has 4mb L2 cache, the new ones have 3mb L2 cache... the penryn...- Formant024
