    After further thinking, Its a question of I think, How much interest is enough? How many fans is enough? When are you able to justify that? Is it really benificial to wait possibly years before you release or can it help? just some thoughts.

    This is VERY key Standardizing knowledge, reaching a general understanding. I think its healthy. music has so many cryptic phrases and words that mean so many different things lol

    Ok the "Market Place of Interest" really turns a criptic word like buzz into something tangible. But what about from an indie starting out stand point? Do I release the material, and have future fans discover it while promoting. Or do I get the fans then give them the material?

    I do. You aint "sampling" unless you "Flip it" or make it SOUND sampled. Thats my point.

    I think its the "flipping" that constitutes sampling today. In order to "Sample" you have to "Chop" and "Flip it". Actual sampling is irrelevant untill its illegal lol.

    True but you wouldnt get credit for sampling tho. Its funny cause every ones drums are sampled, even some synths are samples but you wont be called a sampler
