^ u CAN convert an Mp3 to wav.. but its not gonna restore its original quality.. u'll just have the same quality of the mp3 in waveform. the only benefit from doin big robs method is to prevent any FURTHER compression/distortion. -
Reason and cubase sx 3
In cubase.. go to whatever the dropdown seletcion is for opening up the vst panel.. Then click reason. Then just click the power button on one of the mixer channels and the other one will automatically be selected. Then just open reason. -

piano vst or samples?
who was talkin about velocity and decay? Thats not the reason why its so massive in size... most vsts sample 5-6 C notes (c1, c2 etc.) but the grand 2 samples everynote, as to not distort the sound any.. Still not the reason its so massive, but that definately adds to it. -

thats just the install... the sonuds it self are much larger. but its koo cuz it samples many differnt makes and models, for certain sounds (dark, bright, concerto, etc.) -
good genres for sampling drums?
I find alot of good drums in Japanese records. they usually have 345345 minute long drum solos and shit. also... jazz usually have good bd, cuz the bass player plays on the kick sometimes. Disco. Classic rock. -
